I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I currently have a Canon Rebel XTi, with which I use an EF 28-135 f 3.5-4.5 IS as my main walkaround lens. I also have the 50mm Compact Macro f/2.5
I'm trying to sell my 28-105 USM because, from what I understand, my IS lens is better in every way.
I was originally recommended the 50mm f1.8 II by a friend, but reading reviews online, it seems that the Compact Macro is a better lens. Would I be wasting my money in buying the 1.8?
